YachtCare.io FZ-LLC ("YachtCare.io", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• •To provide, operate, and maintain our Platform.
• •To create and manage your account.
• •To facilitate the booking of services between Yacht Owners and Service Providers.
• •To process payments and payouts.
• •To verify your identity and prevent fraud.
• •To communicate with you, including sending you service-related updates and marketing communications (which you can opt-out of).
• •To improve our Platform and develop new features.
• •To comply with our legal obligations under UAE law.

Under the PDPL, our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

• •Contract: The processing is necessary for a contract we have with you, or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract.

• •Other Platform Users: We share your information with other users to facilitate service bookings (e.g., we share a Yacht Owner's contact details with a Service Provider upon a confirmed booking).
• •Third-Party Service Providers: We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), and marketing.
• •Legal and Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, including to comply with a court order or subpoena.
• •Business Transfers: If YachtCare.io is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. However, please note that no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

We will retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We will also retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have the following rights:

Our Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
